What is K2 Spray?

Liquid incense also known as Synthetic cannabinoids are human-made mind-altering chemicals that are either sprayed on dried, shredded plant material so they can be smoked or sold as liquids to be vaporized and inhaled in e-cigarettes and other devices. These products are also known as herbal or liquid incense.

These chemicals are called cannabinoids because they are similar to chemicals found in the marijuana plant. Because of this similarity, synthetic cannabinoids are sometimes misleadingly called synthetic marijuana (or fake weed), and they are often marketed as safe, legal alternatives to that drug. In fact, they are not safe and may affect the brain much more powerfully than marijuana; their actual effects can be unpredictable and, in some cases, more dangerous or even life-threatening.

Synthetic cannabinoids are part of a group of drugs called new psychoactive substances (NPS). NPS are unregulated mind-altering substances that have become newly available on the market and are intended to produce the same effects as illegal drugs. Some of these substances may have been around for years but have reentered the market in altered chemical forms, or due to renewed popularity.

What is Herbal Incense?

Herbal Incense

Herbal incense, or synthetic marijuana, is a dangerous trend marketed as natural and safe. The reality is that it is anything but safe or natural. These drugs are typically sold as a liquid or as shredded plant material with manufactured, mind-altering chemicals sprayed onto it.

9 Herbs You Can Burn as Incense
  • Cedar (Thuja spp.)
  • Sage (Salvia spp.)
  • Sweetgrass (Hierochloe odorata)
  • Frankincense (Boswellia spp.)
  • Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha)
  • Rose (Rosa spp.)
  • Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia)
  • Juniper (Juniperus monosperma)

How do you make herbal incense?

  1. Gather fresh herbs, keeping stems together. Feel free to combine different herbs or keep them separated.
  2. Take your bundle of herbs and tie the stems together.
  3. Air dry for 2 weeks, or dry in a low-temperature oven for 8 hours.
  4. When ready to use, light the leafy end of the herb incense.

How to use:

When the herbal incense is ready, hold the handle end and light the other end until you get a flame going. Blow out the fire and let the herbs smolder. Place the dried herbs in a small heat-proof bowl or dish and enjoy bringing the scents of the outdoors inside.

What can incense be used for?

Incense is used for aesthetic reasons, religious worship, aromatherapy, meditation, and ceremony. It may also be used as a simple deodorant or insect repellent. Incense is composed of aromatic plant materials, often combined with essential oils.
